Nothing to read here, move along. Truth be told I am so busy in life that my art has suffered greatly. At this point in my life I am working ungodly hours to pay the bills and since I work from home on the computer when I am not working I do not want to sit in front of the computer and make art or post stuff or even play games for that matter. My apologies to anyone left who watches me . Right now I have nothing to give and that won't change in the foreseeable future. I will attempt to post things when I have the time, though from my experiences this past year it looks like I will only be posting every few months.

Sometimes I find it hard to name fractals. Usually some title with "mystic", "fractured", or "light" comes to mind. I just don't know if describing it as the title is the best method for naming something. Guess it is something I will need to work on.

I have been playing with Apophysis for a few months now and releasing wallpapers for download on my blog. To render a quality image can take time and doing nine images or more at a time can really bog the old computer down. My last image run, which was around 30 images, took around 32 hours.

I have purchased Bryce 6.1, Daz3D had a March madness sale and I picked it up for a steal. I hope to have something to upload soon. Though, with my work going the way it is I might not have time to learn it as fast as I would like. I have been putting in 50+ hour weeks and things only look to get more busy till about mid summer. Hopefully it won't take that long till my next post here

Sometimes the only time I have to work on anything is late night after the family has all gone to bed, such as tonight. The problem with working with fractals when you are exhausted is you start seeing things in them. I have a few I will be uploading this week that I can see nothing but alien figures in. I know it sounds weird but since working on them in this exhausted state I can't seem to get past the alien figures. Some could be called beings, monsters, humanoids, etc but the point is, once I see the being, I can't continue to work on the fractal as I feel I am killing it, whatever "it" may be. Weired huh

After working with Apophysis for the past week or so I think it is a fun little fractal program. My problem with using it though is after quite a bit of time put into some of these fractals, the end result looks unfinished to me. Even if I frame it or whatever. The results of the flames remind me more of effects than images to show off. I will be posting them, the flames I have been building but I am not sure the end results will be as accepted as some of the other fractals I have submitted. Maybe I am wrong but we shall see...
